The NTN Help Center is available to members of the New Tech Network. It contains more than 100 curated articles and resources that support the development of New Tech practices. While some of the materials have been made available to non New Tech members, the vast majority require users to sign in before they can be viewed.
Try Google option first.
If your school email address is tied to a Google account, the simplest way to log in is to use the "Sign in with Google" option. From the home page, click "Sign In" and then chose the "Sign in with Google" option on the sign in window.
If this doesn't work, you can use your email to set your own password and log in that way.
What email account should I use?
When your staff account was created in Echo, an account was also created in the NTN Help Center using the email address stored in Echo.
To find the email address stored in your Echo account, click your profile on Echo's upper menu bar and select "Settings".
What's my password?
Although an account was automatically created for you, no password was assigned to it. The first time you access the NTN Help Center, you need to set your password. To set your password, click on the "Forgot Password" option. This will trigger an automated email that will allow you to set your password. NOTE: Because this is an automated email, you may need to look in your spam folder to find it.
Troubleshooting
If staff are not able to log in and they have an Echo account, it's generally one of the following issues.
- Email is incorrect in Echo
Solution - Confirm the user’s email address in Echo. If wrong, have the Echo Admin update the user’s email address in Echo. Wait for sync to run. If it’s right, but the user didn’t get an email, check spam/junk folders.Handy Tip: Users can see what email Echo is using by selecting “Settings” from their profile menu in Echo.
-
Not designated as a "Staff" in Echo
Solution - Have your Echo Admin update the user’s EchoUserType field to “Staff”. - Using Echo username and password
Solution - Remind user to use their school email address and set a password to log in.
- School is not subscribed to the NTN Help Center
Solution - This problem would affect every person at the school. If no one in the school can log in, check with your NTN account manager or ask the Echo team to check the school's Echo domain settings.
