Describing the Project in NTN Blueprint

To begin creating a project, complete the Design Idea section with as much detail as possible. Follow the numbered steps below:

1. Enter Initial Ideas - Provide your starting design ideas or topics you would like the project to address.
2. Select Competencies - Choose whether competencies (also referred to as NTN Learning Outcomes) should be:
   1. Automatically recommended by the AI,
   2. Manually selected by the user, or
   3. Not included at this stage.
3. Select Content Standards - Choose whether content standards should be:
   1. Automatically recommended by the AI,
   2. Manually selected by the user, or
   3. Not included at this stage.

1. Identify Grade Levels - Indicate the grade level(s) for which the project is intended.
2. Set Project Duration - Specify the length of time the project will run.
3. Create Project - Once all fields are completed, click “Create Project” to proceed to the next step in the design process.

If manually adding Learning Outcomes or Content Standards, follow the numbered steps below:

Selecting Learning Outcomes Manually

1. Select Content Standards - Choose with NTN Learning Outcome to use in the project
2. Select Grade Levels - Choose the appropriate grade level rubric to pull from
3. Pick Specific Learning Outcomes - Check the box for the outcomes you want to include
4. Repeat steps 1-3 for the other Learning Outcomes you are adding.
5. Once all fields are completed, click on “Select Competencies” to save your selections.

Selecting Content Standards Manually

1. Select Content Area - Click on the first drop down to select the content area
2. Select State - Click on the middle drop down to select the state
3. Select Grade Level - Click on the right drop down to select the grade level standards to pick from.
4. Pick Specific Standards - Click the checkbox to select the standards you want to use.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 as needed for other subject areas being used in this project.
6. Once all fields are completed, click on “Select Standards" to save your selections.

Don’t see the standards you want to use in NTN Blueprint? Complete the standards request form that appears before completing the 3 drop down menus and provide as much detail as possible on that form.
